Cool, but not your best

Hey, it's me again. The guy who used like five of your songs for his youtube video.
This one isn't by any means bad, but I believe you have done better. It's definately got a different sound and kind of reminds me of boss battles on the original Sonic games.
Once again I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's different than what I'm used to hearing from you, so I'm a little disappointed. If you like it keep trying and I'm positive you'll get better at it though.

Anth0n responds:

I'll try to make a better one next time.

Kind of funky!

The title really fits with the sound of the song (haha, what else to a song is there?) it was kind of mellow, kind of funky, and kind of like a...well...showdown.
Nice job, keep it up.

Music-story responds:

Yep my expertise on choosing good synths is dismal. I really suck at the special effects and cool synth selections. If you have logic express 7 can you master my future music tracks? I'm a newbie with logic express 7 still and need some help. Credit of course will be given to whoever helps me out. Thanks again for review and bye for now

Pretty cool

Nice buildup (especially in the beginning) I like the tune, the only thing that bothered me is that sometimes I thought it felt like the music was going to get kind of more hectic but it actually got more calm (did you understand that?) but that might just be me, because I usually listen to more fast-paced stuff.

BMC-Audio responds:

hmm, i dunno. i guess you're right. my next song will have better transitions though dont worry

basically the same

Should be titled "Strikedown sped-up" or something, because, although I hear some other changes, it's basically the same as Strikedown, but faster. Now that isn't a bad thing, but I was just expecting something new.
As for my ratings, 3 on originality because, it's basically the same, and 5 on effort for the same reason.
Like I said, I do like it, but was disappointed when I realized it was just sped up.

Anth0n responds:

I got pretty lazy, but I'll have new stuff coming soon.

I'm officially your fan

Have you thought about releasing a CD? Because I would totally buy that the day it came out.
This song is just so awesome, as are the rest of yours.
Holy crap dude, keep it up because you've got mad skillz.

Anth0n responds:

Who knows, maybe I'll make a CD on cafepress. If I do I'll be sure to announce it, although I probably wouldn't get many sales or anything. Thanks for the review.

Amazing

I didn't just vote all tens for no reason. Every aspect of this song is awesome. The other day I just decided to check out the Ambient section of Newgrounds, and I'm very glad I did. You have some amazing stuff in here (I'm downloading a ton of your songs) keep up the great work!

Gillenium responds:

Thanks a lot! Yeah, ambient/experimental is my favorite genre of music. It can portray a lot of the composer's personality in way that the other types of electronica can't. There are a lot of great ambient artists here at NG, too. I appreciate the review!

WOW

You never cease to amaze me. Big fan of your music, keep rocking (or should I say techno-ing?) out. You are among the top ten best techno artists on newgrounds as far as I'm concerned.
Keep up the great work!

Anth0n responds:

Awesome, I appreciate that you like my music! Stay tuned for more.

hmmm

It's pretty good. The one dude said you used preset loop thingies, (I actually do the same thing right now, check out my songs if you get a chance) but it was still pretty good.

SlikRik19 responds:

Hey, thanks man! I listened to your stuff, it ain't too bad. Yea I do use a buncha presets, but I'm slowly startin to learn to do my own stuff, so check back later, I might have something new for yall.

Meh...

I think you could have done better, as it seems kind of like a distant song, when in my mind, vectorman music is the kind that should be turned into hardcore techno...but that's just me.
You know they were going to make a third one for Sega Saturn, and were planning a movie? Both were cancelled, but then they were going to make the third one for PS2, which was cancelled yet again, but you can still find videos of what it could have been on the net.
Anyway, great song, like I said I think you could do better, and I really wish you would either re-do this song (because it's one of the better ones) or make some other re-makes of vectorman songs, like you said, it has great music!

SpacLock responds:

Expect a remake before mid August.

As for new songs...

Nice

This takes me back. Sonic 2 was the first video game I ever got or played, and you did a really good job re-creating the second level's song and bringing it into the new age. Great job!

SpacLock responds:

Thanks a lot for the review man!
